Andy Richter returning to primetime!

...because he's on NBC!

Andy will be doing a new sitcom titled, "Andy Barker, P.I.". The premise is this buttoned-down accountant sets up shop in an office formerly belonging to a private investigator. He has no clients, but people are knocking on his door for detective work. Hilarity (supposedly) ensues.

Conan O'Brian is writing and executive producing for his former sidekick.

Doubt it, because it can't be worse than anything else on NBC right now. With the exception of 'Scrubs', 'The Office' and 'My Name is Earl', They're really struggling.

i dunno, it could have a My Name is Earl "different flavor every episode" thing going for it.

That actually sounds like it could be a good premise for a funny show..

I'm very selective in the TV shows I watch (pretty much just The Office and Arrested Development), but I'd tune in for this.
