Andronicos & Whole foods

So yea, where do you go when your looking for upper class food/health food? I personally love andronicos way more than whole foods because I dont feel like a hippie when going there like in Whole foods, plus *I THINK they have less of a markup than whole foods. Comments?

i've never been to andronicos because i don't think there's one near me. i go mostly to whole foods, but the only things i buy there are stuff i can't get cheaper in the supermarket - i.e. tofutti's, those terra chips, veggie chips, some fruit (i don't really have an organic preference), eggs, sometimes yogurt, and they have great luncheon meat.

The presentation at the Columbus Circle Whole Foods Market is beautiful, but caters more toward the dining crowd. Rather enjoyable place to sample a variety of foods.

For more of a supermarket atmosphere, prefer Trader Joe's, Stew Leonard's, or smaller organic stores and stands in the city (there is an Amish organic/specialty food store in Midtown, but cannot recall the name).
