Not sure if this is the right place to post this or if I'll get much response. But a few hours of general internet surfing taught me most people using Android x86 are dumb. Or at least the ones posting videos....
So, I've got Android x86 (5.1) running on a VM. Boots up normal and all that, ARM bridging mode is on, unsigned apps are enabled. Play Store opens, I can log into my account and start a download. But any download starts downloading, then restarts a few times, then errors out. I can manually download the APK and install it with mixed results. Basic applications work but a more complex one (game) just locks up on the splash screen.
Anyone here used Android x86? From what I can see, my Play Store issue isn't normal and from what I can see, with the ARM bridging mode on, I should be able to run non-x86 apps albeit poorly.
I get the same behavior using VirtualBox on my desktop or ESXI on my host.
