Android + Wifi iPad for GPS?

I have a Flex 2, and just got an Air 2, I'm trying to use it for my navigation. I Googled and found some info, one of the guides the iPad needs to be JB'ed. I'm running 10.2 and there's no JB yet. I see I can buy a stand alone Bluetooth GPS device. But I'm trying to use my phones GPS. I installed Share GPS and connected it to my iPad, but Waze is still telling me no GPS found.

Any suggestions here?
