Day 1
So far, I've bought the following:

World of Goo
Osmos HD
TuneIn Radio Pro
Business Calendar
Pocket League Story
Sprinkle
Quell Reflect (The reviews are too good for me to pass up.)
mSecure(Meh...I doubt I will ever use it. These Android sales could be on the way to becoming like STEAM sales for me.)

Things I already had before from previous sales:
SwiftKey X
Camera ZOOM FX
Paper Camera
Endomondo Sports Tracker Pro
SoundHound
Asphalt 6: Adrenaline

I've heard Shadowgun is pretty good, will pick up a few of the sale apps and def Shadowgun.

I've liked it based on the brief amount I have played so far. It's the first shooter I've tried that's actually playable and fun with touch based controls. The graphics are also very impressive.

I'm trying to understand the point of this app. Does this really make one's phone safer?
Most of the stuff it claims to protect, I don't have saved on my phone anyway.
Website logins? bank accounts? and credit cards? Not saved on my phone.

I bought it because I'm terrible at remembering accounts and passwords. I had the free Amazon app version but I'm trying to get rid of Amazon app store. But I forgot I also have the TuneIn Radio Pro and Business Calendar from the Amazon app store and both require Amazon app store app. Amazon app store is like a virus that won't go away. Guess I have to reinstall Amazon app store...

If you have a Galaxy Nexus, then the Market updated to the new Google Play version. Not sure if any other phones or tablets updated or not. Droid Life has a link to a manual install if you wish.

Actually my CM9 Touchpad updated automatically to Google Play. My Galaxy Nexus is still on the old Android market and haven't prompted for the update to Google Play.

CM9 is built from ICS source, should update.

Not sure why your Nexus hasn't updated yet, but mine didn't update until about an hour ago. Shrug, you'll probably see it on the Nexus before tomorrow though. Not much changes, really, just some of the layout and the name.

Added two more apps:
Quell Reflect (The reviews are too good for me to pass up.)
mSecure(Meh...I doubt I will ever use it. These Android sales could be on the way to becoming like STEAM sales for me.)

According to DROID Life, this is going to be a 7 day sale affair.

It is my hope that Google will stop offering mostly only games and start offering more actual utilities.
I'm gimped that I missed out on PowerAmp this weekend. Hopefully, it will be offered for sale sometime this week.

how does mSecure compare to Lastpass? And this is an all-inclusive query, as I'd have to switch to their desktop app as well.

Something that irritates me. Since I picked up Swiftkey X as an Amazon FAotD a while back, it always shows as 'Purcahsed' in the Market/Play. But, if I attempt to install it, it fails. The only way to install it is to go through the Amazon Appstore, which I don't want. There's a couple apps that have the same problem. There's no way that I've found to resolve it. Damn Amazon Appstore crap. :(

I've been having the same issue with an app I installed a trial version of a long time ago. I want to purchase it, but they won't take my money. I've been emailing back and forth with Google support for a week now and it's still not resolved. Just take my money, dammit.

I haven't gone that far yet, but I did switch phones. Tbolt > Nexus. Wish I'd never bothered to install that Amazon crap.

Use Titanium Backup to backup the app's data. Then uninstall it.

After that, install/buy it from Mar^H^H^HPlay. Finally, restore just the DATA using TiBack.

Tried that based on an XDA thread before and it didn't work. Tried it just now again two different ways. First, uninstalling from within Titanium Backup. Second, same steps except uninstalled using built-in Android app management.

App still shows as "Purchased" in Market/Play.

I'm having that problem with 2 different apps, I even had one I hadn't installed so much as a trial of. I don't even think there was a trial for it, but it still says "purchased" and I'm unable to BUY IT. Don't bother contacting Google support, they won't do sh*t trust me. PlayerPro's one I downloaded the trial a year ago and wanted to buy it but it says I always own it. I've emailed Google about 15 different times and they've done absolutely nothing.

What is the problem? Installing the app obtained via Amazon from the Google Market?

I still get the free app of the day (out of habit by now), but I haven't had the Amazon Market installed on any of my devices in a long time. I've slowly been repurchasing things as special deals appear on the Google Market.

Now it takes like 3 minutes for me to find it. It isn't in the same place it was.
