How lame.
Android Market > Google Play.

They couldn't even be bothered to use Google Marketplace or Google Market?
Google Play is the best they could come up with? Really?

Excellent selection of apps for the sale. My collection of mobile games is going to get a lot bigger.

What it's called is kind of lame.

What it is, a one-stop place on PC (and a re-branded Android Market), is quite nice in execution. :)

Meh, name sucks but the sales are cool.

agreed. These sales are about the only time I buy apps. Picked up bunch of apps during the Google 10 cents sale that I still haven't installed. I'm going to be picky this time since apps are 5 times more expensive as their last sale.

What app is everyone buying?
I haven't had time to go through the entire list yet, but I see the one from Kairosoft that I may get later tonight but I'm off to go somewhere now.
I also see many duplicates from December's 10cents sales.

I bought Dead Space, Shadowgun, and Osmos HD.

Now, we shall start a betting pool on whether Sony or Nintendo will be first to file suit over use of the word 'Play'. :p

Don't really care about the name, cool they are consolidating everything to try to make a "google shop" for both android and just normal web users. I imagine the next step is getting games on there that can run in browser (like google+ games) and/or that can sync with android games.

They cleaned up the google music interface as well, got rid of all the orange and added the google play branding. Looks a lot better now, much cleaner.

I bought Shadowgun, Osmos HD, World of Goo, and Dead Space. I've only played Shadowgun so far but it has a surprisingly usable interface for a touchscreen shooter and the graphics look great on my Galaxy S2.

Yea same here, what features do you want that they don't have yet? I'm not that picky about music, I just use it at work and for that it's been great.

no way to mass delete stuff, no way to search for dupes, no way to tell the uploader to not upload dupes (this only really happens if you have FLAC and MP3 versions of stuff, which i do for various reasons which mostly include poor support for FLAC. only way around it is to create a seperate folder with only 1 copy of all your music (annoying) or select every album 1 at a time (painful with 23k songs).

it still lumps together different artists that have an album with the same name (example This and This are considered the same album) happens with all "Greatest Hits" albums as well, it simply does not read tags correctly, which pisses me off because i actually take the time to tag everything.

it also splits up albums for no reason if you have a deluxe edition or import which has some extra songs on it, even when taged correctlty it still splits them up into 2 albums

Same as others: stupid name, but decent overhaul of the look.

I'm trying to understand the point of this app. Does this really make one's phone safer?
Most of the stuff it claims to protect, I don't have saved on my phone anyway.
Website logins? bank accounts? and credit cards? Not saved on my phone.
