Dumb as f___. I updated my Samsung S9 today, took ~45 minutes or so, evidently there's a new version of Android, I assume an updated version of Android 10.

So, I'm new to Android, was Windows 10 Phone for several years. I have probably 4 or more messaging (i.e. text messages) apps installed (Message+, chompSMS, Messenger, Messages, I think another). I'm wondering how I find out my default messaging app.

All the info I'm hitting searching online has explanations, open settings, go to this, then that, blah blah. But none of them are what I'm seeing here. Apps & Notifications, for instance is just NOT THERE! It's cave exploring without a lamp trying to figure this stuff out. Help!!!

Settings > Apps

Tap the three dot : thing, select Default Apps

Or you can just search for "Default Apps" in the settings.
