One day we may need a separate mobile software section (apps and OS's).
That will keep all the hate and anger out of the gadgets section.

While I'm a big android proponent, I don't see a need for it outside of Gadgets/Phones. Or *nix Operating systems. Anything relating to it can be posted/asked there and inevitably, you'll be directed to XDA Devolpers.

Our answer to new forum requests is generally "no" anyhow, but it's especially no for forums that wouldn't generate a lot of traffic on their own. GG&P takes the better part of 3 days to cycle a thread off of the first page. That's not nearly enough traffic to justify a new forum, as the resulting forums would risk being so small as to lack enough posters to make them viable.

Partitioning the forums just because you can't get along with someone else is not a good reason for a new forum.

The phone forum is a tech forum. If someone gets out of line, use the Report feature.

There could be ones added if there was a true NEED for them. However, most things are covered fairly well. Unless their presence alone generated such an immense amount of traffic that warranted another sub-forum, it ain't gonna happen.
