Android device manager, lock and erase settings.

Hi I set up my new phone via NFC and I have a work email that is handled by google (w@work, a personal gmail p@gmail etc, and gmail address I use for random stuff where I don't care if I get spam.

So everything is setup correctly and works but I'm looking to setup the lock and erase options. Now it only lets me have the lock/erase setup if I use my work gmail login w@work ---- if I signin with my personal gmail accounts the lock/erase setup is not an option.

When I set it up my phones with NFC they all defaulted to my work address as the first one.

Is there a way to set a certain gmail to be the main one associated with the device.

Can you remove the work Google account and re-add? I don't know if this will work, but it seems like a logical thing to try.

You will have to remove your work related google account, add your personal google account. This is the way that the management of primary Google Account works.
