Anyone use it?
Thinking about a HU with it but I have to yell at my phone to get it to hear me. Don't want to do that with a HU too.
 
I have it and plug my phone it to use it every time I get in and I love it. I would definitely tell everyone to get it if they can afford it, either Android Auto or Apple Carplay. Both help keep your hands and eyes on the road.

With aftermarket installations they will install a separate microphone or at least they should so you don't have to yell to get it to hear your.

My car has a button on the steering wheel you hold to pull up voice recognition but my car came pre installed with CarPlay/Android Auto.
 
I like it. Mainly because I didn't want to spend the $800 for crappy manufacturer Navigation in my car, especially when I'd use GMaps anyway. So with AA GMaps is displayed on my car's 8" LCD for free.

Mine uses the built in mic to the car though.
