I have a 5 year old car that has a touchscreen that came out before google and apple came out with their car interfaces. now there are receivers that you can get from best buy or other auto audio providers have have the updated android auto and carplay interfaces...

does anyone have experience with these after market touch screens? i have some questions related to these:
are these receivers compatible with the radio controls built into the steering wheel?
the existing screen switchs to the backup camera when in reverse, would the aftermarket screen do the same?
the existing system also controls the climate controls. will the aftermarket system also do that?

I have a pioneer bhs3700 receiver. You can get a screen mirror kit for it pretty easily. Has backup camera capabilities. I know there are aftermarket parts that will even change OEM touchscreens to mirror phones. I know for a fact there are camry/prius kits.
