Android Applications & Chrome OS

I know that the 2 app stores do not carry the same apps but if I had access to the APK from android is there anyway I could get that to run on a Chrome OS device?

I tried looking around and found more or less people saying that they do not work together which I knew just didn't know if I could get into the apk and change anything to allow it to be installed on Chrome OS.

Any help or direction is much appreciated thank you.

Isn't there a version of BlueStacks for x86 Chrome OS devices?

You could use that if your Chromebook is running an Intel chip.

The two operating systems are completely different. You can't run an Android program on Chrome any more than you can run one on GNU/Linux.

@bearxor-Thank you for that. It does look promising but I seem to be missing where I can download it for Chrome OS.

@crashtestdummy-Yes I knew that much I just didn't know if there was anyway I can use the apk in anyway to allow a Chrome OS install.
