interesting. as someone who lives a couple miles from NYC, and whose work often rises and falls on the fate of NYC, this is definitely of interest, and it is a position with national exposure too, politically:

Well he can’t possibly do more damage than de Blasio, although would be more interesting if Yang set his ambitions on Albany.

While De Blasio has been a terrible mayor I’m not sure would would want to be the mayor of NYC while Cuomo is the governor. Cuomo basically acts like the mayor of NYC as it is.

Seems promising - likely I expect what plenty expect when first going in...making massive changes, making everyone happy...

And then the stranglehold of the establishments get a hold of their neck....


Wonder if he can do a UBI + tax for it at the city level, eh? heh. Well, I guess maybe at the state level if he makes it to governor level someday.

Cool. I like him and wish him well in his political endeavors. Smart, well articulated young political leaders are pretty rare these days :)
