So apparently the source for the clip is PBS, and it aired long ago. Apparently rightwingers were so busy bashing public broadcasting that they never actually bothered to watch it until Breitbart.

I loved when Bell said after Obama's introduction:
It may be significant that the student stands here and delivers a mighty address without notes, while the teacher...
Sure was "significant" :D
As an Obama bash piece this clip is epic FAIL.

Very epic fail. We already knew he associated with people who spouted hate. So what does it matter that one guy wanted to destroy America because african americans would never be equal? Old news.

Breitbart, I am disappoint. This is hardly vetting Obama, pretty sure this was just shameless self promotion and a long wait for such a total letdown.

So "fair and balanced" Fox News in another attempt to take down the President served up a big nothing sandwich with a side order of zero? Just enough for Hannity to run with it for a week.

I watched the video and have an angle for Fox's next breaking story.

We must start impeachment proceedings because Barak Obama 20 years ago, hugged a black man. This clearly proves he is a Kenyan socialist.

Even Geraldo thinks this is the lamest expose in history

I missed it - where was the teleprompter in that twenty year old Obama video? Righties are always saying Obama can't utter a word without one (followed immediately by their reference to the 51 states gaffe).

Frankly I was very impressed by how level headed and well spoken he was even back then. In retrospect it's easy to see he was a man destined to go places.

Andrew Briebart was the Abbie Hoffman of the new right. And just as truthful, just as relevant.

Segments of video Breitbart thought would sink Obama. More guilt by association, as expected, so expect the man he's speaking about to be smeared.

I think Obama looks really great on it though, amazing how articulate and polished he was in his 20s.
The guy he's speaking of is professor Derrick Bell, who died last year. So I guess the irony here is that the recently deceased guy, who we aren't supposed to speak ill of, is going to smear another recently deceased guy to bash Obama by association.

THAT is the video Breitbart was going to release? I saw that a couple days ago on I think it was CNN. What is the angle here? He supported affirmative action 20 years ago?

I've seen the video twice. One was supposed to have been edited to take out the stuff damaging to Obama, the other with the damaging stuff in it.

I didn't see any real difference. I didn't see any damage.

Actually, the only thing I really noticed was how well Obama spoke in it, and he was still in college.

I suppose the damage is supposed to come from Obama's support for someone who is supposed to be a radical. But they haven't been able to succeed with that already (Rev Wright etc) so I sure as h3ll don't see how this is gonna do it.

To think that Obama had the CIA assassinate Brietbart over something like this... such a waste.

This is pretty hilarious that the nutjobs were made to look so foolish and so quickly. OMG the president was in favor of afirmative action 20 years ago in college.
