PCM, have you ever worked with people from Anderson? From my experiences and from conversations with people who work for Big 5 firms, they let companies get away with alot to retain business.
Looks like we'll be down to the Big 4 pretty shortly. Heh. Still recall when it was the Big 8.
And Arthur Andersen, LLP did nothing wrong from an accounting standpoint -- they ensured that Enron complied with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Andersen did not 'cook the books' or anything of that nature, nor did they cause Enron to collapse.
And I believe that it will be determined that we (yes, I do work at Andersen) are not guilty of the obstruction of justice charges as a firm.
Yeah I don't do accounting-related work, either.
Hopefully my department will not be losing much work, and we will make it through *relatively* unscathed.
