Stupid Capital One, their online bill pay is screwed up. My credit card bill got charged three times to my checking account. Now I have to listen to their stupid tech support music while I'm on hold.

This is my fault, but one of the three payments made was from wellsfargo.com instead of capitalone.com (I had reason to believe the bill pay was not working at capitalone.com). They don't see this payment on their system and I won't get reimbursed for it... Also wellsfargo won't reimburse me because the payment has already been processed.

Argh!

Yes, lesson learned. Fortunately, it's only a $142.47 lesson.

How did this cost you money? If anything, it should show up as a credit on your credit card statement. Any future charges will go against the credit.

Just because you overpay a statement, you dont "lose" the money. Imagine how ridiculous that would be.

Speaking of, I just double paid my Citibank card. Not remembering I had already paid the $1745 from BofA, I paid it again from my WellsFargo. I didnt even bother calling them... Just forces me to use that card for purchases, which I do anyway. No big deal.
