The Japanese culture is one culture that I fail(and really don't want) to understand.

From a culture that buys and sells used adolecent girls underwear, has more or less rape scenes for porn, among other things, something of this sort wouldn't surprise me

I heard the American version consists of locking a plaintiff inside a court room and forcing him to sue his way to $1 million dollars and use this money to live off of. Apparently it didn't work because the plaintiffs all walked away within a few hours having won well over a million dollars
