I love animals more than anyone I know. I have two dogs from my mohter's dog, and two cats that were from that SPCA. I'm not an animal activist....but I love animals. And I eat meat too, so don't think i'm a PETA member.

It's comical to me that in leiu of all the whining about the state budget around here, and all the state jobs that were frozen.....that it's a good time to build a massive new SPCA site on 25Acres. State jobs have gone unfilled/cancelled...hte job market is tough (for more then just techies)......but we can take donations and build a 4.3 Million dollar Adoption center.

I just find that a bit ironic.


Maybe I can start a private donation fund for a 25 acre complex called tech-pimps. We put you broke po ass back to work. We have an adoption room, and a obedience room (no leather allowed)......Or I could just start euthanizing poorly performing techies with jobs to help the unemployed folk get a better chance at a job........hmmmm maybe I'm on to something.......


 
They wouldn't need facilities like this if all the morons in the world would neuter/spay their pets. Guys who won't neuter their male dog because of some kind of macho line of reasoning related to removing the dogs nads being "cruel" need a kick in the ass. It's a dog. It won't know the difference either way. They even have prosthetic doodads you can have put in if you somehow equate large dog balls with your own virility.

BTW. My grandfather had a bird dog that he refused to get neutered.......even after it went nuts, and bit most of the people in our family (besides him).....it took my grandmother telling him that she was scared to go outside anymore before he put it down. What is it with stubbornness being a prerequisite to being old? I think the dog's insanity was due to inbreeding.......but he was definitely not helped with having more aggression with not having been clipped.
