It's hard to decide whether that is just plain bad or whether it is simply archaic. Although the translation at the link you gave mistakes "the" for "ye". Actually, that mistake is the source of the prefix "Ye Olde". The 'y' is actually a letter called a thorn (Þ) which makes the sound "th". It's slightly more readable if you take that into consideration.
