And this was locked...why?

I posted a simple joke in OT : There are 3 types of people in this world,

It's not dirty, it's not racist, but a moderator felt the need to lock it within 5 mins of my posting it. I don't understand why, I'm not in violation of any rules or anything...I PM'd Anandtech Moderator and got no response, so I'm posting this here.

I'd assume that since it was a NEF thread they felt the need to put it out of our misery.

How is it a nef thread? Because it's short? Bah.

It's a joke. It's purpose was to make people smile, or laugh, or whatever. I saw it on another board and it made me giggle, so I thought people here might enjoy it.

Just because it's short doesn't mean it's pointless.

It would have turned into a Nef thread. A Mod thought ahead and killed it. good move I think.

Because it looked like a parody of this thread, which was posted an hour earlier. Parodies usually turn into nef threads.

I believe it wasn't judged on brevity, but lameness.

Posting useless replies to raise your postcount. Comon nefs are postcount ++ and postcount +1, yada yada. Used only to increase your postcount under your name. It is a bannable offence.

Crap. I forgot that ".... before the lock" in it's abreviated form is a N/A word. And it made me double post when I was replying. My bad. Just shoot me now.
