Reuters unmasks Trump supporters terrifying U.S. election officials

Law enforcement has taken little action over threats to election officials. Reuters tracked down 9 of the harassers. All admitted sending threats. Most were unrepentant.

Fully detailed accounts and admissions of threats against election officials...and crickets from local and state authorities. Nevermind Milquetoast Garland, there's absolutely no local action being taken either.

Eventually someone (s) will get hurt. But even that won't change anything. Remember after Sandy Hook...20+ kids gunned down and everyone thought....this will be the time we, as a nation, make some moves against gun violence. And...nothing. Expect the same reaction when political violence becomes the norm.

Oh, I thought this was going to be a wider-scale doom, with regard to our scant efforts to quit burning the planet down.
But yes, on the national front, fascism has made fantastic inroads, and I think we've almost gotten as far as waving a finger at it.

I'm not at all happy with Merrick Garland, and on this one Mitch McConnell was probably right. Garland was certainly not the cream of the crop when Obama chose him, but then again Obama "foolishly thought" that picking Merrick Garland would pass a republican controlled senate thus we got Garland from Obama. Bad Obama.... Bad.

But as far as doomsday's goes, just imagine life and people 1.7 billion years from now. And we think we have problems....?
In the far off future, earth will be looking to the end of life as we know it.
The sun dying. The sun exploding. Some catastrophic event....
And some dumb-ass relative of Mitch McConnell in charge of the senate will still deny that climate change is real.

White people with nothing believe they are entitled to feel superior to people of other colors who also have nothing and especially hate anyof other color who actually manage to get anything. That was supposed to be theirs. Self hate creates entitlement, the kind that says if I can't be superior than burn it all down. You can't make a person who feels worthless love him or her self or prevent them from destroying the world. Only those who can look at themselves and see this truth can change. Such folk can't be found.

The fact that this is a prevalent problem in America is quite surprising. It surprises me that people with lighter skin color think that title IX and other employment helping actions for people of color, seem racist and unfair. The reality however is, they both currently have the equal amount of chances of getting hired with the current rules. If this was not the case, then Lauren Bobert would never have been where she is right now. It is quite funny that Bobert is fighting against the same thing that brought her to the position she is in. She basically used programs sponsored by Democrats for poor people, like she was at the time, and she gained connections with very wealthy people. One of which was ironically a Republican that helped her make start her own business and also gain a high paying job. Eventually she became a public figure and ran as a Republican.

There always is a post made by an HR staff member of some organization on LinkedIn, making a complaint while keeping any identifying details of the person confidential, saying how they received a PM on LinkedIn on how their practice of hiring people of color and women was racist and unfair against them (a light skin colored man). The people who send out these PMs to HR staff on LinkedIn do not realize that it is this act of theirs that is preventing them from getting a job. Take this post on LinkedIn for example, which at the same time is quite surprising that someone would send this type of PM, to somebody who was a high-level HR staff member at Amazon.

None of this will matter when the oceans start boiling, and with the way mankind is doing little to nothing to stop global warming this will probably happen before 2100.

Simply put, making a profit is paramount. The nations that are playing catchup to the first world nations will of course refuse to stop employing the cheapest and most available sources of energy despite the fact they are doing this at their own peril. It's much more important to them that they attain the respect and the resultant security it provides them and the only way to do that is to become as militarily powerful as "those other guys" who dictate terms to them by waving those big nuclear armed sticks in their faces. A very expensive task that requires using cheap energy sources as quickly and as massively as possible.
