I won the auction on that CoolFX 6800UE back in November, but didn't meet his reserve. I offered him $700 shipped for it, which I thought was a fair price, given SLI was out at that point.

He blew me off, said "$800 + $39 S/H".

It may be petty, sort of like seeing the girl who dumped you get dumped herself, but it does my heart good to see that set out there on EBAY 4 months later. I'm just guessing the value hasn't gone up. 😉

He's charging $39 shipping on an item that weighs maybe 2 pounds?

This is going to lose more and more value given that it's an AGP card, and Gainward is coming out with 512MB cards with the same clock speed as this one. What a dumbass.

$900 may be a bit much for an AGP Ultra these days......

I'll just say I got a pretty good deal on the GTs. 🙂
