The perpetrator was arrested. I would not be surprised if he was seriously hurt or killed in prison - from what I've heard rapists/child molestors do not fare well in prison.

I had this happen to a male co worker of mine. The humiliating part of it is why did they publish the victim's name in the paper, let alone the internet?

The local paper also published the victim's name in the case I am familiar with, and that was 1986. WTF??
