let me be the neutral 3rd party:

Moosey loves Apple but doesn't hate Android. He's also well informed, so he does know what he's talking about. You have to understand that he is internally torn because he knows that Apple is a killer OS but Android does a really good job of what it does. Sometimes his posts will contradict each other because he swings both ways. He's not trolling.

You're just begging me to buy a Nokia now, aren't you???

Damn you rudeguy.....

nope...WP7

The new HTC is only going to run $875. Its a steal!!!

I'll wait for the port to the HD2... But then again, I'm likely to just tell TMobile to screw off and stay with Virgin @ $25/month and Skype on my hacked iPhone 3G with an unlimited iPad plan...

I love the cheap TMobile plan, but the whole 0 bars where I work makes them useless.

You know, I'm just not going there, like I said, you win.

My daddy warned me about arguing with zealots, meanwhile, I'll just make bank on Apple stock, and try to time my jump, I suspect Jobs ego is tied up in Apple's stock price being below Google's and Berkshire Hathaway's, and that Apple will continue it's tradition of not paying a dividend and not splitting for the past near 6 years, what do you think?

I also think Apple has about 12-18 months left to run, the combined efforts of a gazillion knock off phones and tablets will finally catch up with Apple's reign over tech.

Earnings are out monday, what do you suppose the numbers will be?

Do you think the supply train constraints on iPad and iPhone sales will hurt their numbers like Munster?

I think they sold a hell of a lot of tablets and phones, and that the analysts are once again inaccurate, and that we'll see $385-$400 stock prices sooner rather than later...

The Verizon iPhone will rock everyone's world :)

:D

He's right, you know. You're trying to have your cake and eat it too. On the one hand you're bragging about iapps (whatever they're called) while on the other you're trying to be an adult about it all. To feel extra smug you tell us about how much money you make from Apple stock. We've heard it a thousand times before. Don't need to hear it again.

I dunno, I find the quality of the apps in Apple's market pretty good compared to Android's, and it pretty soundly beats Windows Mobile and BB's store as far as quality and quantity.

But what the heck do I know? I have > 1/2 dozen iOS, Android, WM and BB OS'd devices in arms reach and use Android & iOS daily...

Also, just for the hell of it, this thread wasn't intended to be an OS flame war, just a comment on the sheer number of apps available.

WTF are you talking about? You sound more and more like the Apple version of Rollo every day. I did not say a SINGLE word about Android. My post had NOTHING to Android. But for some reason you feel the need to bring up the competition and start a silly flame war. You're as big a problem with your pro-apple marketing BS as the Android fanboys are. How about you keep to the topic on hand. Then you want to place the blame on others for your own comments. Show me where I mentioned Android?? Nothing I said had anything to do with the iOS, Android, Google or Apple.

My comments go towards any app store. Having 300,000 apps and trying to gloat about it is NOT impressive. It only means that it's over saturated with 99.9% pure junk. People want to make money and they can create an app in no time and throw it on the market. There are quality apps, but you have to wade through 290k of junk to find the jems. Color me not impressed by a big number.
