TiVo? This happened almost 4 hours ago now. I have to root for the Twins just because I am in MN. Otherwise I'd put a witty comment in here like "People still watch baseball?" or "I thought the American past-time was f4pping on the web.".
Nope, what's truly annoying is a Yankees' fan who posts a lame thread hours late just to announce old news. Not surprising really, considering most Yankees fans are as self-centered and narcissistic as the Yankees themselves.Originally posted by: raildogg
Red Sox will choke again like always. Besides, their fans are really annoying

And btw, why is the media on GayRod's jockstrap now? HE MAKES 26 MILLION, what is up with the dck riding, all he's finally doing is earning his paycheck. By the media's standards, Manny should be making $40 Million+ b/c they're on his jock every night and he comes through in the clutch 80% of the time.
He didn't win the game, Matsui did. Well, actually Nathan and Jacque gave the game away with their phenomenal chokes... but my point is, why would the media say ARod is the best all around player in baseball and then pick him to choke in the playoffs? He still had an overall good year so I'm confused... and then when he does come through in the clutch the media says he has finally earned his "Pinstripes". What about Matsui? Ruben Sierra? Cairo? The unsung heroes are the real reason NY even won the division, they should be getting more attention than a guy who makes 26 million "not choking", and I'm not just talking about last night either.Originally posted by: Argo

The guy won the game for us, chill man. As a matter of fact, nobody was talking about A-rod this season.

It did matter, b/c Pedro was 0-4 in his last 4 starts with a 7+ ERA, and 2 of those losses came to the DRAYS. He reestablished his old dominant form hitting 93/94 on the radar consistently in his last 2 IP. It was also important because Boston touched up the infallible KROD for the loss, lit Donnelly up like a Christmas tree, and put themselves in a position to sweep Anaheim and get more rest than the winner of the Twinkie/Wankee series.Originally posted by: gigapet

Also, who said Boston was a dynasty? lol Looks like your true feelings about the Red Sox are coming out, r u skurred Yankee fan boi?
Your age is showing. I'm not the moron that equated Boston with the word "dynasty". There are very few sports teams that deserved such a term throughout history, much less ANY team in baseball today.Originally posted by: gigapet

So who cares and watch some good baseball. If the yankees win, then itll just be another notch on their belt and more bandwagon fans wil join "america's team" if the red sox win the city of boston will erupt in celebration adn yankee fans will will go, "Oh then it will be another 86 years till they win their next one. No one will ever win this argument, so lets all shut up and let the players do the talking!
