The line doesn't say, "Prophets writing on the subway walls..", it says, "The words of the prophets are written . . ." indicating to anyone able to understand that this implies a prophet's words were written there by others.

I would never say here, "The words of myself are written here (by me)," but would say, "The words of Paul Simon are written here."

Semantics. You think you grasp the discipline. You don't even come close.
 
Last night the wife and I heard Cecilia playing in the background at a restaurant and I was immediately transported back to New York in 1970. I was 5 and this was my absolute favorite song. I even had the 45 and practically warped it from playing it so much. You young whippersnappers dont even know what a 45 "record" is do you? HA!

a 45 record was spun at 45 RPMs and were smaller than full records. you had to hit a button(physical switch on the older record players) in order to properly play them...

To bad i dont have a good needle for my record player, otherwise i would have some floyd/hendrix blasting right now from a record.
 
One of my favorite songs of all time. Hell, one of my favorite bands of all time.

Great performance, overall.
 
1080p or not getting old and rusty I like live in central park. I bet they could still sell more tickets than acts of today even so.
