ROFL. Seriously? Why oh why do we give a shit about Cuba? (At least, why of why should we care enough to keep a policy in place which does so much domestic damage to the USA in so many ways.) Not to mention that if tariffs were removed, most of the imports would be coming from Brazil anyways.

Not saying I agree with it, but we all know the score.

Oh look another ethanol thread where ignorance abounds...

Yes, people who use corn will whine(paragon economics) when the cost goes up, but the link to ethanol is tenuous at best.

Does anyone here have half a clue about the corn market and what drives prices? ... blame ethanol if you wish...

I wasn't particularly confused. I was just riffing on a double entendre about a notorious horse-faced bony heiress and her sex tape. Just keepin' it light. ;)

Hehe, OK, and to think I even thought about her when I posted. I was trying to work in my own take on your name.

Does that mean that my steaks might cost a buck or two more, but they will be grass fed then instead of corn?

oh, and corn fed beef sucks anyway. if burning corn as fuel leads to less corn fed beef, that's a good thing. grass fed hits you in the mouth with bold beefy flavor.

I agree. The rich taste of corn fed beef is so horrible compared to tasteless grass fed beef.

Bush's EPA would not give CA waiver from ethanol requirement. It's republican donors who benefit from mandating that ethanol be mixed into gasoline, not environmentalists.
