I'll put an eight inch woofer in the front and stick a power amplifier in it. It's the computer case that's its own multimedia subwoofer! (This could be done, actually, with a woofer with Qts of around 0.7 and a magnetic shielding cup.)
I think I'm going to take the plunge and buy it. The 2 25cm fans are too much to resist. Anybody else have this and have any comments. I can't find hardly any reviews on the net for it.
I just got the case in this week. I"m planning on building the system over the weekend. I"ll post pics and updates when I'm done. It's definitely way bigger in person than it looks based on the pictures.
I've built two systems now using this case and I must say it performs very well. The big 250mm fans are silent, even at full blast. I don't know if this has been mentioned but each fan has a built-in controller so you can adjust speed to hearing sensitivity. Like I said though it is a very quiet case. Temps are great too. My boss is running an E6600@3.2GHz (1.3V I think) with an SI-128 and the cpu loads in the high 40s to low 50s range running Orthos. The rest of the case temps seem very good as well.
Build quality seems pretty decent. Solid case. My only gripe with it is the hdd cage which doesn't allow you to hide the hdd cable in the back. You have to mount the drives with the cable facing towards the window. Not a huge deal but I like clean cable management. There are plenty of hidey holes for wiring however so it does redeem itself in that regard.
Here are some pictures incase anybody is interested. I've got a couple of pictures with the Xclio next to a Thermaltake Tsunami Dream for size comparisons. I've removed the storage box in the front to increase air flow as seen in the pictures below. Over all temperatures have dropped about 5c. Also the fan on the back is an AC Ryan and it is pushing about 77.70 cfm pic pic2 pic3 pic4 pic5 pic6 pic7 pic83 pic9 pic10 pic11
I'm glad I've bought the ugliest case ever!! Actually It's really quiet. The case comes with fan controllers for the 2 25cm. It's a little louder than the Thermaltake Tsunami with 2 120mm.
