I've never heard anyone rip on AC/DC, especially their early stuff with Bon Scott. Some of their music is a little repetitive and even cheesy, but the stuff I like, I genuinely like a ton.

I wasn't correcting you, I was just adding another example of a band that's been around for a long freakin' time. The negative comments (how did you see them?! I made them small and stuff) were about AC/DC, not Cheap Trick.

Not that I'm really a fan of CT, I just hate the everloving piss out of AC/DC. In the south, 'classic rock' radio stations will lead you to believe that they are the only rock band from the 70's and 80's.

Them, plus lynyryd skynyryd and molly hatchet and a few other select hillbilly bands.

my first 6 record albums i got were all ac/dc.

my parents made me stop buying them because of all the negative press at the time about ac/dc being a devil worship band. so the next two albums i got were the ramones. heh.
