Dear Mr Hetfield

As I sit here listening to what I consider to be one of the greatest Metal albums of all time, I cant help by hang my head in sorrow that it is also the last time Metallica really shined with the intensity that once was.

I have listened from the beginning. I saw you guys play in a club the size of a 7-11 in the early 80's. They put all us underage kids in a special section of the bar way in the back. I have never banged my head or felt more at one with the power of Metal. No one had even heard of Metallica back then and I am still proud I was one of the few to see you in those days.

Sure, The Black Album had some good tunes, and there was a smattering of alright stuff on Load and Reload. We'll just pretend St Anger never happened, that was abysmal.

We'll even let the whole Napster thing slide if Lars just sits the fvck down and does what he does best....not talking....beating the living hell out of those drums and double bassing like a mo-fo. Besides, I seem to recall a little something called No Life Till Leather being duped and passed around and you all were behind it 100%.

I think you guys could still belt out something appreciable if you set your minds to it. So whats the deal? We want answer's. You have some true fans still sitting here waiting....hoping.....

They're old and rich. They're no longer young...full of piss & vinegar. Good music like Metallica used to play is not made by older rich guys.
