I just saw something even more retarded. Watching the transporter tv series and they doused a guy in gas and then someone shot him and he caught on fire....

I could see maybe if it was point blank and the flash ignited it it, it the shooter was a good distance away.

It was a pistol. Don't think i ever saw tracer incendiary rounds for pistols. Wouldn't really make sense either. Shooter was a cop as well, so doubtful they would even use tracer or incendiary rounds.

Tracers have the phosphorous material in a hollow at the base of the bullet, and the powder charge ignites it. It's unlikely that they would ignite anything, but not impossible.

Incendiary rounds are designed to start fires, and they basically detonate on impact.
