Former Ohio House speaker convicted in $60 million bribery scheme

These 2 must have been believers of the "go big or go home" philosophy. In this case, it became "go big and go to jail."

Larry Householder , former speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives and his partner in crime, former Ohio Republican Party Chair Mathew Borges were convicted and face up to 20 yrs each for arranging to accept bribes in exchange for ensuring the passage of a billion-dollar bailout for a nuclear energy company.

Reading the article I'm not sure where the $60 million figure came from, but I don't suppose the numbers are as important as the actions.

Of course, being the typical upstanding conservatives that they are, their fellow political and business partners in crime lament the convictions as the only crimes those two otherwise innocent honest people committed was being caught in the first place and then not being able to bribe/blackmail their way out of being convicted.

Great news. ANY corrupt politician, regardless of party, who is convicted for corruption charges should be executed. Not jailed, executed.

You have some issues you need to work on

Duh...however, at my age, it's a little late for that. I might be able to admit that in my earlier years, I had a couple of doctors suggest that I might have some...sociopathic tendencies...(thankfully they didn't say psychopathic) :p
