I am having a heck of a time with this stuff, I have yet more problems to practice and am getting nowhere...and I mean nowhere.
Any help is appreciated, I would like to see how it is done step by step, not just an answer...that doesnt help me..I need help learning it.

why don't you use the quadratic formula.

for the first two, set each equation in parenthesis equal to 0 and solve

next 3 factor them out, or quadratic equation

some of those are VERY easy problems, just try to get x, or whatever variable by itself by means of factoring, or multiplication, division subtraction etc.

(just wait till calc one)
