"ancient" Penryn (late 2000s laptop CPU) temps surprisingly low...

Can someone knowledgeable tell me if this is as expected or not?:

The max/throttle for the CPU is 105C, but this isn't even getting close to 70C with full load (Prime95 for 10 minutes). Wtf?

I've never had such a part, but it makes sense intuitively. It's a fairly low-wattage part with quite a big die (107mm^2), hence low thermal density, and the cores in older CPUs used to occupy relatively bigger part of the die. Modern CPU cores run quite a bit hotter because they pull a lot of power in a small area => high thermal density.
