Anchoring to concrete vs pavers

Have a gazebo going in, we have pavers which I dont think is strong enough to be anchor to. I have no experience in this area

I would pull the pavers in the area to be anchor to and pour concrete and anchor the gazebo to concrete.

Let me know if that should logically or just anchor into pavers..

If you live in the US, your building permit and local building codes will dictate how the gazebo will be anchored.

That said, definitely go with proper concrete foundation piles.
They will keep the gazebo from sinking or heaving.

Needs steel in the concrete. I'm not sure what they are trying to achieve with the gravel at the bottom of the pier

Exactly. A good wind will blow the gazebo away...pavers and all.

Some rebars definitely will be better. Gravel at the bottom might create a more solid base.
