2) New construction home finished in 2005 recorded purchase price is $757k which can mean he agreed to buy it in 2004 for that amount which is reasonable
3) There are still $750k 3000 sq ft homes in crummy parts of LA (non Westside).

My house....


Bethlehem PA, 11 years old at time of purchase (1997), 4000sqft, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, fully finished basement, 210K.


That's a good deal.

my house was built in 2004, cost 435k, now worth about 850k. i'd say thats a good deal, too. hospital, circuit city, mall, elementary, middle, and high schools are all within walking distances or should i say, right next to or in the development. other major infrastructures such as theater and walmart are not that far off.
