I like number 6

No Homemade Body Kits. Saving a buck is certainly understandable, but making your own body kit out of Bondo, cardboard, or paper-mache is not a good idea. Homemade body kits say ?I'm cheap, have no sense of style, and can't refrain from assuming people like you are just too slow to notice.?

article gets a C+ for the no duh factor

I have an addendum to #2

Don't drop your car too low. Lowering a vehicle can be a great way to help simultaneously improve the look and function of your vehicle's suspension, but lowering it too much can be just dangerous. If your car is lowered too much, you'll find it hard just to drive your car out of your driveway. Even worse, if you lower it improperly, you might find that it bounces so easily that you can't drive more than a couple of miles per hour without rattling your teeth out of your head.

Have to include in this the excessive negative camber... nothing like seeing a ricer dropped way down with the wheels angled at 45 degrees.

And for god sakes if someone asks you what you have under the hood, don't say you have a rotary with pistons.(especially if it is a mustang)

...or a Mustang with VTEC.

And I've seen a Jeep Cherokee w/ a GT-R emblem, it looked worse than the V6 Mustang, but atleast it looked like he was going for the satire factor.

There's also the other side of rice: Mall Crawlers. They can be spotted by asking them what kind of differential do they have in the front end, if they don't know, it's a mall crawler. If they have lift blocks more than 4" tall. It's a mall crawler. If it takes a ladder to get into the car, and it still only has 12" ground clearance, it's a mall crawler.

Heh, one of the first things I noticed when I saw that game, is you get "madd rep points, y0" for having a roof scoop on a front-engined car, among other offenses. :disgust: The rice factor in that game is out of the park.
