I liked the previous look where I could visit a News item and start reading (posting) comments right away. The new look seems to be missing something and feels "empty." Is it just me?
 
After trying it and seeing if it'd like it over time, I've decided not to read the new here anymore. I enjoy the functionality/look of the news on other sites more. But I will remain to haunt the forums 😛
 
No, there are others who feel the same way and already have posted that. I disagree and like the new functionality.

Agreed, I like the new function, especially where I don't have even see the poor comments; like First Post, Soviets, XYZ sucks, etc.
 
They should keep the look and ratings system. Add numbers to the posts again, and make the comments on the page instead of in a pop-up.

Absolutely. Ofcourse there are those losers with their first post, soviet, etc crap. But ban one and everybody else will stop. other than that, i really miss the comments on the original news-post page itself. And there are other news sites, but some of us still use AT's news posts just for the fun of them.
