No way a 4ghz 2500k got below 8s. 1M :awe:
My 2500K @ 3.7 gets 7s.

tbf though I don't see how Smoblikat's 2500k @ 3.7ghz can possibly get 7 seconds unless it's channeling the bloke from ancient alien's hair. How come most times I see you commenting on something it is to try and tell someone what they are doing wrong.
Care to enlighten me as to why you think myself and grkM3 aren't using the correct build of superPI? Because I know I used the one from the OP and if I was only at 4.8ghz on an I5 and got 7.17 I see no reason whatsoever that an I7 @ 5.3ghz+ wouldn't hit 6.97 secs (infact I am surprised it isn't a bit lower)
Maybe you should go do your own benchmarks before you start picking other peoples to bits. Just a suggestion.

A bit lower lol you need to look closer as you got 7.8 in your 1ml time.I was like how the heck did this guy almost match my sub 7 second run at under 5ghz.
I have a backup run at 5.5ghz too lol

Ohhh for a min I thought this forum might grow some balls and actually had an king of the hill overclocked benching competition.
Let me know when the real benchers can come out and play.
PS I would love to see you even attempt to beat my cinebench run if its just an easy suicede run then I'm sure you can beat it.
I'll see how much higher I can push mine later this week.
Are your GPUs OC'd? What numbers and are they 1gb or 2gb models?
I split them up and built another rig.I'm going to buy a 670 soon so I'm leaving the gpu benches out for the time being
