Anandtech VS. Tom's Hardware

every forum has dumb posters and smart posters. although i'd say AT's hardware forum has decreased in quality over the past few years. i got really helpful advice when i was building my computer.

I used to get a LOT of help back in the day. That said, I don't do as much upgrading these days due to a lack of funds 🙂P) but they are still realyl helpful on here.
 
I've only been here since September, but in that time I've seen this forum degrade to a bunch of noobs asking the same questions over and over. I still love Anandtech though 😀.

i think too much "rate this rig" and "OCZ and g-skill everything are teh total sh!t" threads ruin it for me.
 
There's this one poster over there, MadModMike, who deserves to DIAF. He would probably banned here in two seconds.

read quite a few reviews and articles there over the years...

both sites have their merits IMHO

Yea, we have mods. Well, he's trolling now, when he joined he wasnt so bad.

I used to post over there a lot (my nick over there is Coyote). They have some smart guys. Same here too.

This forum seems like it has more posters though.

Confirmed. I'd say this is true over all of the AT forums, going downhill the past few years. Plenty of good folks mixed in though, so it is worth sticking around. 🙂
