I noticed that I have a user rating of 3.62 or something do a lot of people rate on that thing. Seems like a crappy score...do I really suck that much 🙂

You can turn off the rating function.....
 
Thanks for the ups and downs. As long as Im number 0! <--- hahahaha, I just had a diff eq exam and there were factorials in the LaPlace transforms.

But seriously, does the user rating have any serious effect?

Generally, one's user rating tends to plummet dramatically when they post these sort of threads... Basically if you care about your user rating, don't ever ask or talk about it.😛

I think mine is pretty high though.

No of votes: 133

Hehe. None of you can bring it down either 'cause I turned my ratings off a long time ago. Neener neener!

I turned mine off. It's hovered around 5 for a long time, which is pretty good for posting in OT 99% of the time, but I turned it off when I decided to make a comment in a user ratings thread. Anybody who posts in a thread like this will receive plenty of ones if the ratings are turned on.
 
I'd say i brought it all upon myself. Im surpised i didnt fall farther because of the math joke. I was really just wondering...not trying to be a rating whore 🙂
