Anandtech the rest of the site

I was just curious does the average ATOTer read the front page, DailyTech, or follow Anand on twitter and such? Me, I do all three. I do admit to being a bit scared of the comment section on DT though. My favorite part of the site is The Bench, and look forward to it's expansion. What do you guys think of the rest of the site?

I really only visit OT, Hot Deals, The Garage

occasionally click on the other forum sections but don't venture outside the forums

I look at the main site once in a while. I doesn't interest me nearly as much as it did 5 years ago, but I still read maybe 1 article a month.

never knew they existed. if it's not on the forum bar on the left side of screen, i dont know about it

I read some parts of some articles on the main site, but usually at least check it every couple days.

I don't check the front page on a regular basis, but if I'm ever looking for news or reviews of a specific product, AnandTech is usually one of the first sites I check.

I read all over the place. I usually post in PC Gaming and OT.
Sadly I am no longer competent enough to post helpful advice in the hardware forums. Only posts I make are to ask for help.

Keeping up in OT, Network, Hot Deals, Free Stuff, and a few others is almost a full days work. I'm already loafing 7 out of 8 hours a day at work, and can't afford to loaf any futher to visit other parts of this board.

I stopped reading the front page a long time ago when I was looking for a video card and AT was far behind the times and so biased towards ATI products that I felt like I was reading a 6 month old release from Radeon.

I'm sure its much better now, but that experience helped me find some great sites that give good, up to date and impartial reviews.

The only time I read anything on Anandtech (outside of the forums) was when I was looking for an SSD and found links pointing to the SSD review article on AT. That was a couple of months ago.... I doubt that I'd read anything else for years.

Every now and then I might. Since the switch to VB I tend to visit more forum sections though as sometimes the last post will peek my interest.

I visit Daily Tech, all of the Forum Issues subforums, and PC Gaming daily. I will visit a few of the other subforums on a semi-regular basis and several of them I never venture into. Since the switch to vB I actually visit the other forums less than I used to. Not sure why that is to be honest. :hmm:

Yes. I was also offered to contribute to Daily Tech. 😎
