Putting aside about $600 for a toy and the rest is going towards school loans + savings (almost done!).

I've narrowed it down to a few choices:

- APR is having an ECU software sale for $599 (for my GTI)

- Marantz HT Receiver (to replace my aging Denon that needs to sit on something to flex the board enough for it to work)

- Computer watercooling project + maybe a new graphics card.

Yes, i can't make my own decisions

Is the reprogram going to help with gas mileage like some claim or just boost something you MIGHT feel. TBH if I had 600$ I would buy myself a PS3/some accesories and a new LCD.

APR (or even Revo, they're both good but Revo has historically had smoother / more comfortable tunes without giving much up for power)

Some said they got the same or better Mpg, and it adds about 40hp and 93lbs torque, plus some security features and it also allows me to switch between stock, 91, and 93 octane mappings (more power).

you'll definitely feel the difference with a 1.8T or 2.0T GTI. Now if you had a VR6 like me, I'd say otherwise.

Do you have a rainy day fund? Put it in there. If not, start one.

I'd tech up to at least level 2 and then put up 1 turret in case they rush. Lock down your base and start rolling out jackals and hunters. Once you've got enough ground you should move in as fast as you can. Set your global rally point to the portal and move your hero just out of their reach. By then your tax refund should have doubled with your supplies that you've made and as long as your hero stays alive you can keep moving troops there.
