in the anandtech subscriptions advertisement, the thread linked to for more info appears to have been archived, gives an error code when clicked on


also I tried to pay for a subscription, but its being declined... said to email anand for customer service, heh
dont know if it's better to email him, or just mention it here
I've bought something recently with the same card on ibill, so I dont know why it would be declined... kinda odd

When a card is declined it's almost always either a) not enough funds or b) the wrong address was entered and doesnt match the billing address (just about every e-comm shop doess address verification). I'd email the appropriate email someone will respond to you

I tried it again this morning and it worked....

I've used this card several times to buy stuff online, and I know it has plenty of funds, so it wasn't an issue with the card, or the address I was typing in, that isn't a possibility to me
I think it was either
1. my computers fault.... perhaps cookies were messed up. no long after I tried to subscribe last night, no matter what I did I couldnt stay logged in to the forums....so perhaps my cookies were messed up, weren't getting saved or something.
2. I recently paid for a trial of something with ibill, then cancelled before they rebilled me... they may have been waiting for funds to clear on my card or something.
Anyways, all is well now

oh yeah, the first thing I mentioned in my original post is still the same... don't know if you care or not.. no big deal
