Why aren't there any printed? I for one would buy one and I'm sure a lot of other's would too. What would be even cooler would be if you could customize it so it shows your name on the back with your avatar. There should be a petition about getting shirts printed.
 
Narzy was trying to get something like that going, but I have no clue how far he went with it. Last I heard, he was contacting Anand to get the rights...but that was months ago.
 
Its sad, butI would buy one. haha...make them like a Jersey with your name and avatar like the number... that would be great.
 
If I saw someone with an Anandtech shirt, especially with his name and avatar on it, I'd walk away fast in the opposite direction. And if I somehow ended up with one (kids' misguided fathers' day gift?) I'd wear it to change the oil, paint the house and other dirty work, surely not in public.

Besides, they won't come in what we call "programmer" size - XXXXXXXXXXXL. All that sitting around and eating junk food isn't exactly slimming.

Haha, I dunno, I really like this forum. Knowledgable and funny and it's likely no one around here would even know what Anandtech is.
 
There are anandtech shirts, I remember seeing pics of them awhile ago. I thought it was narzy that had posted the pics too. Maybe they were only prototypes, I dunno.

I've been saying this for over a year, I don't think theyre gonna do it... I believe Tripleshot may have some info on this subject, though....
 
i too would buy it. i just bought an ati 9700pro tshirt from ati.com, canada, took a little over 2 weeks to receive it, costed me total 29bucks. looks nice. won't ever wash it. wore it once so far at matrix filming, i looked good.

I have an ATI Radeon 9700 STAFF shirt I got from eBay for $20.

I am NUTS about t-shirts for some reason. I buy ones that I can't even fit into. I was going to pay $70 for this Doom II shirt on eBay but there was a guy that wanted it more than me.

Right now I'm wearing a DTS shirt (Digital Theatre Sound). 🙂
