With the 4400+ sporting 1MB cache on each core, and only a few dollars more than the 512KB 4200+, we would suspect the 4400+ may well be the Dual-Core to buy - IF it overclocks as well as the 4200+. We don't have a 4400+ to test for ourselves, but given the performance of the 1MB cache 4800+ we have seen, we expect the 4400+ will likely overclock just as well.

Yup thats why I got mine, and 2560 is not bad, and I am not done yet !

Yup, I think I get the message. Get the 4200+ or 4400+ and OC. I think the 1mb cache may be worth the extra $50 though. I'll wait until prices drop. $5-600 is a lot to pay for a cpu.

I can't wait. August 15 is the day (well around then). I will have my watercooled 4400+ in hand with overclock twitches beginning with lost of coffee (and backup swear words) and beaming smiles as I would be in rapture for a stable 2750-2800 on watercooling. MMMMM two FX-57's. MMMM
