Anandtech Members that deserve to be UNBANNED?

what was that shaggy song with the words "wasn't me?" maybe i shouldn't mention his name since i feel the snearing suspicion from a few of you that think i was hear b4 when i really wasn't. so let's just say he did nothing outlandishly horrid, just a few meaningless posts. Then he was put on vacation and tried to come back under different nicks apologizing to the mods...except for his last nic. This happened very recently.
 
I don't get why mods will ban someone, refuse to let him back, and then look away if they register another nick.

They won't look the other way, I doubt there's a mod on duty at the moment.

In the past, they have. There are currently forum members who were banned under another name. See one of the above posts.

He means brooks -> skoorb.

If they restore the old character it looks like they either agreed the person did not do wrong, or forgave what he/she did.
If they leave the character banned but do not act when a new character is registered it means they are giving that person a second chance. Blow that, and an IP ban may occur.

I would actually like to see Texmaster again, I talked to him on ICQ few times, realy a nice guy once you got to know him, its just that he looooooved flamewars and didnt try to hide it.
 
Ausm is on a one week vacation that is into its second week now, I believe. He was "vacationed" for calling attention to someone that should have been banned. :disgust:
