What ever happen to the anandtech member who ran into an old lady with his car? I cant find the post he made about it. All I can remember is that he said it was dark out and and ran over a lady that was crossing the street.

He is posting on other forums. His license has restrictions on it. He got a job, so he's not currently in jail. I don't know anything beyond that.

No, someone posted that in my thread about unresolved threads. I followed the instructions out of curiousity. I didn't contact him or post on the other forums or anything.

Most of the time when cars hit people crossing the street, it's the fault of the pedestrian not paying attention or jaywalking.

but the driver is nearly always legally at fault.
