i dont think there's a single website i could not do without. the giants - amazon, ebay, google etc don't fit into a TOP 5 ranking. and i can't think of any newcomer i'd like to particularly recommend, so here is my commonly used top 5:
1. AT where i go for basically everything
2. imgur (what can you do. i know it's stupid, but i like it)
3. youtube, because there isn't yet an alternative. dailymotion does not count.
4. wikipedia
5. mail.com, or hotmail, or gmail.
