Anandtech member status reminds me of Everquest

Alright, what status does somebody gotta get to start gettin some respect?

I had to get to level20 on Everquest before I could 'play' with the big boys. I'm almost at 'Senior Member' level. Can I come out and play with the big boys and girls then?

There are no perks until you reach platinum, then their are the women, drugs and booze. But you mere peons aren't supposed to know about that, oops

Unless you are elite, your status means nothing. Once you are elite you are allowed to do pretty much anything you want to piss people off and the mods won't touch you. That's about the only benefit as far as I know.
